Recycle Your Electronics Responsibly with Us in Waterville
All Maine households are welcome to recycle computers and drop off electronics at our Waterville recycling facility. We accept and recycle a wide range of electronics and retired technology for reuse as part of our mission to promote digital inclusion in New England and reduce e-waste in landfills.
If you’re a business seeking a corporate tech recycling solution, please contact us through our Corporate Recycle IT form.
Our e-waste recycling center at 60 Industrial Street, Waterville, Maine, offers self-serve electronics disposal 7 days a week during daylight hours. It’s a convenient way to responsibly dispose of your old tech while contributing to environmental sustainability.
For items containing personal information, like computers and cell phones, we recommend visiting during our operating hours—weekdays from 7 AM to 3 PM (closed on federal holidays)—for secure handling. Call us at (207) 872-2615, and our team will securely process these devices to protect your data.
Please note that items left outside are not secure.
We proudly accept a variety of e-waste including:

For any other electronic devices, please call us at (207) 872-2615 to check if we can accept them.
We’re committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Please respect our property, avoid breakage, and follow the recycling guidelines. Note that our property is under video surveillance; removal of materials is considered theft, and dumping of unauthorized items is illegal and subject to prosecution.
By recycling with us, you help us create a supply of reusable technology that supports disadvantaged communities throughout the Northeast by providing access to low-cost computers and technical support. Your contribution to our recycling program makes a direct impact on bridging the digital divide.
Can I send my used laptop in the mail?
I live in Bangor and have no transportation.
Thank you.
Hi Mark,
Thank you for asking. Yes, we’d be most grateful for your computer via mail and we’re working on a program where we’ll pre-paid shipping boxes to kind people like you so you won’t have to pay to mail it to us. We’re adding you to our database so we can notify you when this program is ready (hopefully by the end of the year). Thanks again!
