We are thrilled to share that give IT. get IT., Information Technology Exchange is receiving a $400.00 donation from IT Professionals for Good through the Grapevine giving platform. Out of millions of nonprofits, IT Professionals for Good has chosen to support our incredible work—and we are grateful!
Grapevine is a platform that empowers collective giving by connecting individuals with shared passions through Giving Circles, where members pool their donations. These Giving Circles collaborate to research and nominate local nonprofits, then vote on which organization will receive their combined funds. This democratic process leads to a more significant impact than what individual donations might achieve.
Grapevine provides two key opportunities for nonprofits: being nominated for funding by existing Giving Circles and leveraging Grapevine’s infrastructure to create their own recurring donor programs, harnessing the power of collective giving. Join Grapevine to discover a community of like-minded donors and amplify your impact on the causes you care about.
Grapevine is the only platform dedicated to Giving Circles – a charitable model that brings people together to pool their donations and collectively decide which nonprofits to support. Recently, Grapevine has facilitated over $40 million in donations to thousands of nonprofits, including Give IT. Get IT.
Grapevine maintains a comprehensive database of 501.c.3 public charities in good standing with the IRS. Grapevine members use this database to nominate and vote on nonprofits within their Giving Circles.

Dear IT Professionals for Good,
On behalf of Information Technology Exchange, I want to express our sincere gratitude for your recent donation to our organization. Every contribution makes a big difference for the community members we serve and reminds us that there are many kind-hearted, generous people who support our mission. We had an incredible 2024 and have ambitious goals for 2025! Our supporters make outcomes like the following possible.
2024 Recap:
-Distributed 2,100+ personal computers with digital literacy training and ongoing technical support to disadvantaged community members and institutions serving them (community centers, libraries, etc.)
-Diverted more than one million pounds of surplus electronics from landfills.
-Recovered and refurbished more than 17,000 electronic devices for reuse, extending their useful lifetimes by 3-5 years.
-Completed second phase of the new “Build IT” STEM program, where disadvantaged youth in grades 3-12 build desktop computers for home use and for community centers. More than 160 students have completed the program using computer kits provided by Information Technology Exchange. The attached photos are from a program session of Build IT.
In 2025, we are scaling Build IT from a regional program at five afterschool Boys & Girls Clubs programs to a statewide effort. We are estimating more than 1,000 computers will be built in public schools and afterschool programs. We will also distribute 2,500+ personal computers with training this year through our traditional “get IT” charitable program.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support, we truly appreciate your generosity. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about our organization or if you would like to know more about what we do.
Best,
Alex Miller, Grants Manager
