Every year, we receive over 6,000 requests for computers from families and individuals across Maine and New England. While we’re proud to fulfill approximately 2,000 of these requests annually, that means thousands of people who need technology to access education, employment, and wellness resources are still waiting.
Here’s what happens with those requests:
1,800+ direct requests fulfilled each year through our programs
3,000+ additional inquiries from people who either don’t qualify (based on income, goals, or state of residency) or learn they’re expected to contribute something—even if it’s just $50 for shipping
Thousands more who could benefit from our build IT STEM program, learning to build computers for families in need in their own communities
Our current resources allow us to serve about one-third of those who reach out.
All sponsorships go 100% directly to mission delivery. Our earned revenues and fundraised operational support sustain day-to-day operations, program development, and our get IT client services. Your sponsorship specifically covers the program participation costs—making these life-changing computers and education programs accessible to everyone who needs them.
