Kids360 Review: Is It Worth Paying For? Keeping Kids Safe Online

What a paid app adds on top of what’s already free

Kids360 is a subscription parental control app. Parents install Kids360, kids install a companion app called Alli360, and the two pair up to set limits, block content, and track location. It costs $9.99 to $12.99 per month.

How to Spot It

Kids360 uses two apps. Parents install Kids360. Children install Alli360.

Pros

• Location tracking is the standout feature and works reliably
• Kids can see their own usage stats, which supports conversation rather than secret surveillance
• A task-and-reward system lets kids earn screen time, which is engaging for younger children
• Setup is guided and quick on both phones
• Works across iPhone, iPad, Android, Samsung, and Huawei

Cons

• Screen time limits can lapse, leaving a phone usable past the daily cap
• Some apps slip past the content filter entirely
• On iPhone, blocking and time limits are frequently unreliable
• A child can disable the whole system in under a minute
• The price isn’t shown until after both apps are set up
• Support is chat-only and slow, and refund complaints on annual plans are common

The Cost Question

A 7-day free trial auto-renews three days before it ends, which is a shorter warning window than most apps give. Cancelling during the trial doesn’t always stop the charge. If you try it, start with the monthly plan, not the year.

Bottom Line

Kids360’s one real advantage over free built-in tools is location history. Everything else, especially screen time enforcement on iPhone, is done better and for free by the tools built into your device. The review covers phones and tablets.
